Iceland Zone Conference June 2017

Every six weeks, President and I are blessed to visit our Iceland Zone.  We love the dedication of the missionaries there, younger and senior.  We have a wonderful day of training, a delicious home-cooked meal and then church with the members.  We feel this to be a wonderful part of the Denmark Copenhagen Mission.  We were blessed also with the presence of Elder and Sister Pilz, the area seventy and wife.

It was a cool morning, with some rain, and I just love this quaint street in Reykjavik.
Ready to begin Zone Conference

Language training

Elder Ludwig had a birthday and we share our compliments
This Elder hit the compliment right on the mark, "He's PERFECT".  We all agree!

Departing testimonies are bitter sweet.  Elder Hendriksen began his mission in Denmark and spent his last 8 months in Iceland.  He has been a wonderful missionary and we will ALL miss him.
Elder and Sister Michaelsen have been here since we arrived.  The have been very dedicated and faithful and we will miss them also.
Delicious breaktime

President and I discussed Elder Andersen's training and talked about what we will "bind ourselves to do".  Elder and Sister Pilz shared testimonies.
Our wonderful cooks

We call this picture, "Where's Waldo?"
Iceland is beautiful!  Almost as soon as we arrive, I begin taking pictures...I can't help myself.  Here are the wild Lupines.
Such beautiful skies...

President and I spoke at sacrament meeting in Rekjavik.  Afterwards, I just had to get a picture with my wonderful husband for Father's Day.  We love Iceland<3
